COHERENCE SERIES
I make order from the disordered world around me. I am inspired by texture, abstracted shapes, color, decay and renewal from my urban environment in New York City and travel to the ocean, particularly Barbados and Cornwall, UK. The paintings take on a life of their own and settle into a harmonious order born of time, patience, movement, music and emotion. A version of reality results, stimulating the viewer’s imagination and allowing for their participation in the creative process. Such collaboration is my reward.
